My name is Tania Willemse and I have an incredible passion for making beautiful, one of a kind polymer clay earrings and jewellery. I first tried my hand at making earrings in December 2021 but my first few attempts was an epic fail! I parked the idea until May 2022 and one day decided to give it another try. This time I persisted and figured it out, and the rest is history!
I had no idea whether it was good enough and if anyone would actually like to wear it, but with the favour of the Lord somehow ladies loved it and purchases and orders started rolling in. And so, Clay by Tania was born. I officially launched my little business in August 2022 with a home-based market day, and sold 61 pairs of earrings that day alone! Since then I have sold hundreds of pairs of earrings, with many return customers, referrals and raving reports.
In October 2022 I was approached by the Table Mountain Arial Cableway retail department who requested to stock my earrings in the Shop At The Top on top of Table Mountain! Of course I said yes, and now my creations are stocked on this incredible landmark for locals and tourists from all over the world to purchase. What an honour!
I love what I do – my inspiration is to make ALL woman feel beautiful, special and ONE OF A KIND.
